Hawthorne's is located in downtown mint hill. They have a nice outdoor patio.
There are different drink specials throughout the week.
We ordered the Long Island style wings and they were delicious. The four cheese pepperoni pizza and the Elizabeth special was plenty to split between three people. We really enjoyed it!
We will be back -

Service: I have eaten here a few times and the service has always been pretty good. Even on a busy night the waiters were respectful and patient with us. They refill drinks pretty quickly (which I know is a big deal for people).
Food: Firstly I'll go over the pizza. The pizza is very good, it has a perfect crust and the cheese is melted perfectly. You can order one of their own pizzas or pick your own toppings. Now for the appetizers, the mozzarella sticks are melted nicely and crunchy. The garlic knots are also pretty good, very soft and moist. The spinach dip which comes with colorful chips is delicious and probably my favorite appetizers of them all.
Overall I gave them 4 stars because they are a family friendly location and good for an outing with friends. They have fresh food and good service. So if your looking for quality NY pizza this is a great place. -

I've always ordered pizza from Hawthorne's but decided to try something different. What a mistake that was!! Had a craving for lasagna and I was highly disappointed. There was nothing fresh about this dish. The sauce was bland, the noodles seemed undercooked, the meat was salty and it was an overall disaster. After attempting to just eat it, I couldn't. Ended up making a turkey sandwich for dinner.

Okay. After having a really bad experience at Hawthorne's (Mint Hill location), about 5 years ago, my kids, wife and I vowed never to return. Well, while they were out of town this weekend, I thought I would try them again, hoping things had improved. Well, once again I was disappointed. I ordered the garlic knots, which were great. I also ordered the Cajun Pasta. Not only was it really light on the meat and pasta, it was also unpalatably and unbearably oily. I also had to add salt and some cajun seasoning I had in the cabinet. Come on Hawthorne's! I know you can do better. $22 bucks and still hungry. I guess I will give them another 5 years to pull it together.
